Sheltair Aviation has achieved Stage 1 of IS-BAH registration, the industry’s global standard for best practices by business aviation ground handlers.

Sheltair’s Chief Operating Officer Warren Kroeppel, stated, “This certification is all about safety management and reflects the strict protocols handlers and operators must meet under safety management system (SMS) requirements being promulgated under the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).  Sheltair protocols have been, and always will be, about safety, but achieving this certification ensures we have the highest measurable goals and objectives. This is not merely a paper certificate for our various operational centers, but an integral part of our corporate culture,” continued Kroeppel. “Many of our customers recognize this certification and its significance. Our staff strives for excellence, whether it’s safety or service, and it is an essential part of who we are. It is for that reason that our company’s senior management team has attended IBAC approved workshops on IS-BAH.”

Sheltair is Stage I IS-BAH registered after an audit of its operational practices was concluded and approved by International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).  Sheltair has all of its 17 locations IS-BAH registered, while Stage II registration is already being anticipated by the year 2020.
