A year after it began FBO operations at London-Southend, Stobart Jet Centre is reporting an eventful year. In January, the company unveiled its new build 24/7 FBO facility, which will be the only one in the London area available for nighttime business aircraft movements this summer. The location has positioned itself as a cost effective and efficient option for business aviation operators heading into the capital.
“Performance has exceeded our expectations, and we are well on the way to meeting our target on 10,000 movements per year by 2022, if not sooner,” said managing director Stephen Grimes, noting the company is looking forward to its second appearance at the EBACE show this month in Geneva. “We also have other growth targets, including the possible strategic acquisition of more FBOs.”
