Formed after the 1st British-Irish Airports Accessible Airport Conference in 2018, the “British-Irish Accessible Airport Panel” has become a regular, informal “information-sharing and catch-up”. The third Panel meeting, hosted at the Heathrow Compass Centre on 3 February, involved 14 experts from Heathrow, Shannon, Gatwick, Manchester, London Luton, Bristol and Stansted airports.

Deafness may be major conference theme

The Panel also discussed structural ideas for this year’s “3rd Accessible Airport Conference”, which takes place at the British-Irish Airports EXPO at ExCeL London, 10 June 2020. Further case studies and great ideas for presentations are invited from all air transport stakeholders, charities and travel interest groups.
