Hawthorne adds Dolphin Aviation to its Expanding Network

Hawthorne Global Aviation Services has closed on the acquisition of 100% of the equity in Dolphin Aviation, Inc. Dolphin will be integrated into Hawthorne and, along with the existing 10 locations, creates one of the leading FBO networks in the country. The Dolphin acquisition strategically expands the platform by adding its first location in Florida.

Dolphin was founded in 1969 and is a full-service, 24-hour FBO platform located at the Sarasota-Bradenton International/KSRQ. Dolphin provides traditional FBO services such as fuel sales, hangar rental, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. Dolphin also provides on-site passenger and crew services, as well as flight training, aircraft rentals and maintenance.

“We’re thrilled about the growth opportunities this acquisition represents,” said Tyson Goetz, CEO, “and we are looking forward to making investments in our newest FBO market and welcoming our customers to Sarasota.”
