Modern Aviation close on Sheltair, Long Island, New York
Modern Aviation have announced announce that they have completed the
acquisition of the Sheltair Aviation FBO at Long Island MacArthur
Airport, New York, effective March 4, 2022.
Modern Aviation was founded in 2018 and has grown to operations in Wilmington, North Carolina (ILM), Seattle, Washington (BFI), Denver, Colorado (APA), San Juan, Puerto Rico (SIG), LaGuardia Airport, NY (LGA), and John F. Kennedy Airport, NY (JFK). We expect to close on the acquisitions of FBO operations at Westhampton Beach, NY (FOK) and Farmingdale, NY (FRG) later this month.
"We are happy to announce that you will continue to interact with the same experienced, courteous, and friendly staff members that you have worked with in the past; however, expect near term changes such as uniforms, signage, and processes. We want to make sure the transition is as seamless for you as possible and, hopefully, even better in the future. Our long-term goal is to work in conjunction with Long Island MacArthur Airport and the Town of Islip to continue to provide the world class service you are used to receiving. We hope that you benefit from the changes that are made and that they make your experience even better. We also hope to see you at our other bases, especially as we expand our footprint over time.
As you know, transitions can be difficult and we want to make sure that you continue to receive world class service from our Line Technicians, Customer Service team, and all our back-office support personnel. Please note, all payments need to be made to the Accounts Receivable address listed below. The online payment portal previously used by Sheltair will not be used at this time.
