Universal open two more locations in Dominican Republic
Universal Aviation has established two new offices in the Dominican Republic as demand for services from Universal Weather and Aviation's ground support division grows. The new offices of Las Americas in Santo Domingo and the Cibao Airport in Santiago join five others in the Dominican Republic: Puerto Plata, SamanĂ¡, Santo Domingo-La Isabela, La Romana and Punta Cana.
"The Dominican Republic continues to record traffic and has become one of the world's most popular leisure destinations for commercial aviation," said Universal Aviation Dominican Republic Director Danilo Rosario Jimenez. "Las Americas and Cibao are the second and third busiest airports in the country, respectively, and traffic volumes are projected to continue the upward trend that began before the pandemic."
Universal Aviation now has 27 offices in Latin America and the Caribbean.
